GYMNASTICS ACADEMY
At Fusion Gymnastics, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive, supportive and welcoming academy where every gymnast can thrive. Whether your child is looking for a fun and active hobby or has ambitions to progress further, we provide a nurturing environment where every gymnast is encouraged to learn, grow and enjoy gymnastics.
We are proud to be one of the few gymnastics clubs on the Wirral offering weekend pre-school gymnastics classes. Children can join Fusion from just 3 years old, making it a fantastic introduction to gymnastics for active little ones who love to move, explore and have fun.
Our 3–5 years classes are designed to support early development, helping children build gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, confidence and social skills. Alongside this, they begin learning the fundamental movements and skills of gymnastics in a fun, engaging and age-appropriate environment.
Our friendly and approachable team are qualified gymnastics teachers and first aiders, with a genuine passion for working with children. Throughout the term, gymnasts work towards progression awards, developing their skills and confidence along the way. When an award is completed, gymnasts are proudly presented with their very own certificate and medal, giving them a special way to celebrate their achievement.
We offer training across all four gymnastics apparatus — floor, beam, vault and bars — with sessions designed to suit a range of ages and abilities. For gymnasts who demonstrate a high level of ability, dedication and potential, our squad training provides additional opportunities to develop their skills and work towards competition.
We also believe that competitions should be fun, positive and accessible. Our optional in-house competitions are open to gymnasts aged 6+, giving children the opportunity to experience the excitement of competing in a friendly and supportive environment. For our more advanced gymnasts and squad members, we also provide opportunities to take part in external competitions.
